Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall and 9/11 Remembered Traveling Memorial Coming to Westmoreland County

WHAT: The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall and The 9/11 Remembered Traveling Memorial, hosted by Rep. Eric Davanzo (R-Westmoreland) and Bikers Helping Others (BHO), will be set up for public viewing.

WHO: The walls are being hosted by Davanzo and BHO. Guest speakers will include Brig. Gen. Mark A. Goodwill; Specialist Thomas M. Fitzgerald Jr., Silver Star Medal Recipient; and Cory Snyder, emergency management coordinator, fire academy instructor.

WHEN: Opening ceremonies will begin on Thursday, Aug. 11, at 10 a.m. The walls will then be available to view, dawn to dusk, through Sunday, Aug. 14, at 2 p.m., when closing ceremonies begin.

WHERE: Smithton Ball Fields, 690 Peer St., Smithton.
