Davanzo: Grant Will Lead to Sewickley Library’s New Home

HARRISBURG – Rep. Eric Davanzo (R-Westmoreland) today announced the Sewickley Township Library has been awarded a Pennsylvania Broadband Development Authority (PBDA) grant that will be used to establish a new facility. In February of 2023, the library was forced to move to a much smaller building, requiring the library to put two-thirds of its printed materials into storage.

HARRISBURG – The Belle Vernon Area Football Team was recognized for winning the 2023 PIAA Class AAA Championship in Harrisburg Monday. Players and coaches had an opportunity to meet Pennsylvania State Reps. Eric Davanzo and Ryan Warner, as well as Pennsylvania Senate President Pro Tem Kim Ward and Sen. Pat Stefano. The Leopards beat Northwestern Lehigh 38-7 in December to win the team’s second PIAA trophy in as many years.

Davanzo Proposal is a Win for American Manufacturers

HARRISBURG- An amendment authored by Rep. Eric Davanzo (R-Westmoreland) to require the use of American-made products in solar energy projects at Pennsylvania schools was included in legislation that passed the House today. House Bill 1032 creates the Pennsylvania Solar for Schools Grant Program, which will provide financial assistance to schools to fund solar energy projects.
