The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall and The 9/11 Remembered Traveling Memorial have arrived in Smithton, PA. Rep. Eric Davanzo (R-Westmoreland) led the opening ceremonies on Thursday, Aug. 11. Joining him in the ceremonies, were (pictured from left to right) Dave Sethman, Bikers Helping Others; Davanzo; Spec. Thomas M. Fitzgerald Jr., Silver Star Medal recipient; Brig. Gen. Mark A. Goodwill; Cory Snyder, emergency management coordinator, fire academy instructor; and Bob MacPherson, retired Navy chief warrant officer. 

Both walls are set up at the Smithton Ball Fields, located at 690 Peer St., Smithton. They will be available to view, dawn to dusk, through Sunday, Aug. 14, at 2 p.m., when closing ceremonies begin.
