Davanzo’s New Scottdale Office to Open Monday, Meet and Greet Event Scheduled

HARRISBURG - Rep. Eric Davanzo (R-Westmoreland) announced today that his new district office will open Monday in the Scottdale Borough Building, located at 10 Mount Pleasant Road in Scottdale.

“District offices are one of the primary means that constituents have to interact with legislators and their staffs,” said Davanzo. “The 58th district is a large geographical area and I wanted to be strategic to make certain that folks don’t have to travel very far for assistance.”

The new office will be open Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The phone number is 724-542-0349. Davanzo’s other office is located at 119 N. Water St. in West Newton, and is open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The phone number there is 724-929-2655.

Services provided to constituents include help with just about any state-related matter, including but not limited to assistance in completing Property Tax and Rent Rebate forms, help with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation forms and expediting unemployment compensation claims.

“I have seen firsthand that constituents often run into confusing issues with state departments,” said Davanzo. “My district staff has experience in navigating through these kinds of problems and can generally make quick work of finding solutions.”

Davanzo will host a Meet and Greet event to celebrate the new office on Wednesday, Sept. 20, from 6-8 p.m. at the Scottdale Volunteer Fire Department, located at 317 Pittsburgh St. in Scottdale. Light refreshments will be served.
