Road to be Named After Local Hero

WHAT: Rep. Eric Davanzo (R-Westmoreland) and Sen. Kim Ward (R-Westmoreland) will unveil signage and honor local U.S. Army veteran Earl “Butch” Long by naming a portion of State Route 3037, known as Waltz Mill Road, PFC Earl "Butch" Long Memorial Highway.

WHO: Ward, Davanzo and members of the Long family.

WHEN: Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 10 a.m.

WHERE: Near 680 Waltz Mill Road, Ruffs Dale (look for parking indicators).
